Glendover Park Committees
Architectural Modifications Committee (AMC)
Chairperson - Vance Barron
Board Rep - Gina Kilgore
The AMC (5 voting People) ensures that the covenants that govern our
community are adhered to by reviewing proposed changes to property
within the bounds of the association.
Beautification Committee
Chairperson - Annette Wimsatt
Board Rep - Nancy Huntt
The Beautification Committee (5 voting people) committee is responsible
for the beautification of our community. This committee maintains
our common area, coordinates Yard-of-the-Month awards and Holiday
Decorations contests. The Pool committee is a sub-committee that
is chartered to maintain pool needs.
Communications Committee
Chairperson -
Board Rep - Greg Parks
The Communications Committee (5 voting people) fosters dialog and
discussion of topics of concern to the association by maintaining
the HOA website and publishing a quarterly HOA newsletter. This
committee includes special positions of PTA Liaisons, City of Allen
Liaison, and AISD Liaisons.
Pool Committee
Chairperson -
Board Rep - Michael Wooton
The goal of the Pool Committee of the Glendover Park HOA is to monitor
the activities at the pool, to offer a safe, fun, and enjoyable
Pool experience for the community. The committee is responsible
for monitoring our pool vendors, make improvements, and secure the
pool for the community.
Safety Committee
Chairperson -
Board Rep - Dawn Wilcox
The Safety/Crime-Watch Committee (5 voting people plus numerous
block captains) will encourage traffic and home safety within our
community. Our special charer for 2004 will be to implement a Neighborhood
Crime Watch Program. We will need numerous Block Captains, one for
each Crime Watch Area within our community.
Social Committee
Chairperson -
Board Rep - Dawn Wilcox
The Social Committee (5 voting people) promotes community spirit
for all residents in our association by coordinating special functions
throughout the year. The Welcoming Committee is a sub-committee
that is
chartered with welcoming new arrivals to our community.
