GPHOA Mailboxes

As most of you know we had about 10-15 mailboxes tipped over on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2006. It appears it occurred between 12:30-2:30 a.m.

The Allen Police are still investigating, but at the time no one has been arrested or questioned in regards to this vandalism. The only leads they have at this time is someone reported seeing 3 juveniles acting suspicious in the neighborhood, but they gave no description and they did not call it in to the Police.

As a community I would suggest that if you see a suspicious person in the area to call the police department and report them. If you see juveniles out past 11:00 p.m on Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday you call and report them. There is a curfew in Allen for anyone under the age of 18. In order to get a handle on vandalism we as homeowners must not close our eyes to what is going on in the neighborhood. We must be the eyes and ears for the safety of the neighborhood.
