Watch Out for Snakes (7/11/2007)
Just a friendly reminder that there are snakes out and about. It would be a good idea to keep your eyes on the ground when walking around grass and shrubs. Also, parent's please know that snakes can be in your backyard one day and gone the next, so you might want to do a quick sweep through the yard before letting little ones out to play. If you ever have a question if the snake you saw was poisenous you can easily do a search on the web. There's all kinds of information. If you feel that you have a poisonous snake or are unsure, please contact Allen's Animal Control at 214-509-4378.

House Numbers on Curb (7/8/2007)
Today, someone/group has been placing advertisements on everyone’s doors that ask for $15 to paint your house number on your curb. This is not associated with the HOA or local authorities. I do not recommend you purchase this service for 2 reasons. 1) This will only encourage others to stick solicitations on your door. If no one purchased services from these vendors that litter our neighborhood with flyers, it would no longer occur; 2) Painting your curb is considered a modification and would require approval by the HOA’s Architecture Modification Committee. Unapproved modifications can possibly lead to a fine. If you are aware of who placed the flyers on our doors, please the HOA Management Company at 972-359-1548.

Mailbox Vandalism (8/30/2006)
Several mailboxes were vandalized on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2006. Click here to read more about the mailbox vandalism and what GP residence should do.

Allen Goes Extreme (6/1/2005)
Recognizing the ever changing landscape of sport, the City of Allen began additions to the south end of its pre-existing Allen Station Park in 2004. Plans included a concrete skate park, two roller-hockey rinks, BMX track and youth center. As construction progressed and community interest grew, it became evident that this project would keep Allen at the forefront of recreational offerings. The stage is now set as the city will unveil “The Edge at Allen Station Park” on June 4. The event will be the public’s first look at extreme sports done the City of Allen way.
